View leave of you and your colleagues in Outlook calendar too

Updated over a week ago

The calendar in the app shows you when you or someone else is absent. By linking the calendar to Outlook, the absences of you and your colleagues are automatically added to your own calendar.

Follow the steps below to link the Rework-calendar to Outlook:

Step 1 - Copy the URL from the calendar in the app

  1. In the app, go to "Calendar" via the menu bar;

  2. Click on "Link" in the top right corner;

  3. Now choose the calendar you want to link with Outlook. You can also link the birthdays of all employees with Outlook here. Right-click on the link of your choice and copy the URL ("Copy link address").

Step 2 - Link the calendar with Outlook

Next, use the copied URL in Outlook to link the calendar. In the following, you can read how to do this for the most common versions of Outlook.

  2. In the toolbar, go to "Add Calendar" > "From Internet";

  3. Paste the URL you copied from the Rework-calendar;

  4. Under "Calendar name", enter a name for the linked calendar;

  5. Click "Save" to add the calendar. The calendar will now appear under "Other Calendar".

Outlook 2013 and 2016:

  1. In Outlook, go to "File" > "Account Settings" > "Account Settings";

  2. Go to the "Internet Calendars" tab and click "New";

  3. Paste the URL you copied from the Rework-calendar and click "Add";

  4. Under "Folder Name", enter the name of the calendar as you want it to appear in Outlook;

  5. Click on "OK": the calendar will now be added and synchronized immediately.

Older versions of Outlook:

Are you using a different version of Outlook? Then you can find out how to link the calendar online via Microsoft Office or via Outlook's built-in help system.

Once you have completed the steps above without any problems, the Rework-calendar should be linked to your Outlook-agenda. If you have any problems linking the calendar, please contact us.
