A balance is a puzzle with many pieces. It can sometimes be difficult to see exactly how it came about and could lead to confusion. Luckily we have an overview where you can see exactly how the current balance came to be.
Go to employees and click on the employee whose balance is not correct;
You will see several counters on the page, click on the balance you want to see;
At the bottom of the table received and used is a link with view all changes per year, click on it;
In the following screen you will see a total overview of all changes - credits, write-offs and why's - of this employee per year. A number of situations can now occur:
Everything turns out to be correct! Very good, then you are all set!
The employee has received too many or too few hours. Check the leave accrual - number of working hours per week - starting date and end date, and holiday hours per year.
Too many hours have been used. Check which requests are responsible and correct accordingly.
Too few hours have been used. Check which requests are missing, cancelled, changed or deleted through leave. If these are correct, check the balance effects of the submitted requests.
Too many or too few hours have been included from previous years. Carry out a mutation to write off hours or check if too few hours have been taken into account.
Too many or too few hours have expired. Look at the detailed information of the different balances in reports. If something is not correctly calculated here, please contact us.
